Development Update – MysteryBoxesReloaded
Hello everyone!
I want to share an important update regarding the future of the plugin.
Work on a brand-new version of the plugin has officially started. The new project will be called MysteryBoxesReloaded, and it is being rewritten completely from scratch.
The original plugin was first released back in 2015 and has received updates over the years. However, maintaining and extending such an old codebase has become increasingly difficult — especially as a solo developer — and it significantly limits the ability to properly support modern Minecraft features.
By rebuilding everything from the ground up, MysteryBoxesReloaded will:
- Fully embrace new Minecraft mechanics and APIs
- Be designed with long-term support in mind
- Allow easier updates for future Minecraft versions
Planned FeaturesThe new version will introduce both modernized systems and entirely new mechanics, including:
- Pity system
- Guaranteed loot
- New upgrade paths
- Improved flexibility and performance
- Support for upcoming Minecraft versions
